Lily couldn't be more excited to run her first marathon with an organization she feels connected to. Lily spent the first 6 months of her life in foster care in Guatemala and was adopted by a family in the U.S. She now lives in Stamford, CT and works in NYC as a Media Operations Coordinator. Running has helped her build confidence and determination.

Brian is excited to be on Team Culture for One! Brian is the Social Media Director at Lincoln Center, where he helps connect audiences across New York City to the performing arts. A lifelong arts enthusiast with fond memories of band, choir, and school plays, he believes deeply in the power of the arts to build confidence, community, and connection for young people.

Nicki is thrilled to be running her first marathon with Team Culture for One! Nicki is in educational technology after many years working as a fourth-grade teacher. She has been running for the last eight years!

CHrissy Kim
This is Chrissy’s first-ever marathon and she couldn’t be happier to be running on Team Culture for One. Chrissy is a seasoned buyer at Bergdorf Goodman with over a decade of experience in the luxury industry. Chrissy is a mother of two who finds her greatest joy in exploring the world and spending time with her family and friends.

Serena legere
Serena Legere is the co-founder of Moutonière, a brand rooted in close collaboration with artists and artisans. She calls Austin, Texas home, though she spends much of her time in New York City and traveling internationally for production (and some sight-seeing). This fall, Serena is taking on the 2026 TCS New York City Marathon in support of Culture for One — with just under 10 weeks' notice, which means she has a lot of training to make up for! She's drawn to the organization's mission of using the arts to help NYC children in foster care feel empowered, connected, and seen, and is excited to fundraise in support of that work by race day.
